The StateView Hotel’s recent inspection included an analysis of their rooms, bathrooms and public areas. Below are the AAA inspector’s findings.
The StateView Hotel’s rooms were reviewed for style, comfort, spaciousness, bedding, furniture, amenities provided and technology utilized. They received a 4 out of 5 room rating. The AAA inspector noted the rooms were stylish and spacious with luxurious bedding, a comfortable chaise lounge chair and a convenient laptop table. Each room at The StateView contains a flat-screen TV, mini-fridge, coffeemaker, safe and access to high-speed wireless internet.
The in-room bathrooms at The StateView Hotel were inspected for layout, vanity area and fixtures, shower style and functionality, illumination level and amenities provided. The hotel received a 3.6 out of 5 bathroom rating with mention of their walk-in showers with integrated seating. This top-rated Raleigh hotel provides a modern bath in every room with special showers and fixtures in ADA Accessible rooms.
Lastly, the hotel’s public areas were inspected including the building’s exterior, overall facilities and layout, the atmosphere, on-site dining, the hotel’s use of technology and recreational amenities available. The StateView Hotel was awarded a 4 out of 5 public areas rating. The AAA inspector noted several amenities that the hotel provides to guests.
The StateView boasts a spacious outdoor patio that houses the pool deck, heated saltwater pool and double-sided fireplace. There’s also comfortable lounge seating for guests to enjoy. The upper-level terrace has an intimate seating area surrounding a fire pit providing guests with serene views of Lake Raleigh.
The hotel’s attention to detail was also mentioned – specifically, the original artwork decorating the public areas. These pieces were created to celebrate NC State University’s fields of study and notable achievements. The hall leading to the business facilities displays pieces of art that pay tribute to textiles, engineering and other popular majors. The StateView Hotel’s on-site bar, named The Lab, is decorated in vinyl wall art indicating the patents that have been obtained by NC State graduates.
The AAA inspector also noted the hotel’s on-site restaurant, Flask & Beaker, where guests can choose to dine indoors or on the upper-level patio. Guests also have access to a 24-hour fitness center on-site and hiking trails surrounding the hotel and Lake Raleigh.
